The Prism of a female life
The story begins with an educated, young, energetic girl who is eager to make commitments of any position she will be given.
She has many friends to talk, her relatives and known people are good around her, she is willing to move out for a career, ready to invest her life, energy and accountibility for good outcomes and positive results.
From her childhood she has seen her mother wake up early in the morning, make her bed and prepare the food, do household chores, take rest, indulge in gossips, again then make food, take care of her husband and childrens more than herself and being commited to all her daily activites .
The girl has seen her father continuously going to the office daily with minimum leaves. The only sole member of bread- earner of the family of four, trying to give a most comfortable and luxarious life to the family members than himself.
Her friends with whom she spends more time in chatting are sometimes seem desperate, life full, anxious, helper and sometimes become very mean to her.
There is her boyfriend, who spends most of his time in various activities but keeps Naina motivated to grow rather than struggles in his life.
The girl is named Naina , who has completed her education now, and ready to move her steps for future endeavours, seen so many miseries in life of others, overcoming her problems with unexpected solutions.
Naina comes out of her house, going to office for work, she saw a poor old lady struggling to cross a road, some schoolboys with a heavy bag, but chatting and having fun around, a lady going to work, a couple looking at each other enjoying their time, a man sits besides her talking on phone about closing the lights before moving out, some teenage girls being looked by goons. Naina feels that she is so lucky not to have felt these things yet, although she understands the struggle of all the people she was watching.
After work, she reached home. Her mother requested that she make dinner, as she was tired so much today. Naina aspires to be capable of cooking food for everyone in her family.
The next day she wakes up in an empty room, makes her bed, and get ready to go for work now. She has moved to a different city , where she has no friends or known faces. she is now a middle aged women, going to just work everyday, her company is in crises now, and everyone is just not so friendly to her.
Today was such a hectic day, she visited a public park and watched beautiful flowers of different colours and sizes. Naina sits under a tree and remembers her childhood, school days. She sees herself in the role of a old women, lying on the bed due to health issues. Besides her, she is now a housewife, making breakfast for the family, next she sees herself in a cabin , with a higher rank employee, besides this a women who is alone in middle a room and just reading a book sliently, there is one more women working on some files in a public office and guiding few people how to do things. At last she sees herself as the only bread-earner of her family of three.
Naina realizes that there are so many things she can do. Coming from a well-organized family, she has experienced and seen many different roles in a woman’s life throughout her life. She know the outcomes of each role, she has to play in her life, highlighting just a few.
